Jag har jobbat helt själv med Wilma&friends i 3 år nu (varav två år på deltid). Även om det är fantastiskt kul att se något man skapat helt själv lyfta, få uppmärksamhet och utvecklas är det emellanåt oerhört tungt. Det finns ingen att bolla idéer med. Det finns ingen att fördela arbetsbörda till. För mig som är en social varelse är det eg. helt fel att jobba så här. Men. Jag har inte råd att ha anställda än och jag är inte beredd att släppa in en partner i det här läget.
Så vad göra? Ja, det beror på vilken dag man frågar… Vissa dagar: Lägga ner! Lägg inte en enda minut till på detta! En annan dag: Det här har sådan potential. Jag brinner för idén. Det handlar bara om att skruva på vissa förutsättningar för att jag skall orka och få inspiration, kraft framåt.
En sådan där bra dag bestämde jag mig för två saker:
1. Jag skall inte sitta själv. Om jag nu har företaget själv behöver jag inte sitta själv. Jag kan dela lokaler och inspiration med andra småföretagare. Ge och få inspiration till varandra. Så just nu letar jag lokal med tre andra företag, som också bedriver ehandel. Förutom att dela inspiration kan vi förhoppningsvis dela på vissa kostnader och därmed sänka våra utgifter.
2. Jag skall sätta ihop ett Advisory Board. (Fungerar ungefär som en rådgivande styrelse.) Tanken med mitt Advisory Board är att få in kompetens och erfarenhet som kan bidra både med ofärgade ögon och kloka råd och tips utifrån deras erfarenheter och nätverk. Mitt Advisory Board är nu snart komplett. Jag har en, kanske två ehandelsexperter som vill hjälpa mig. En expert inom handel och utveckling samt troligen en av mina favorit-inredare/designers. Nu saknar jag bara en kreativ person inom marknadsföring och pr så är saken biff.
